FAA 7460 Form Temporary Crane Requirements

FAA Notice of Preliminary Findings for Crane

FAA 7460 Form Temporary Crane and Structure Notice

Williams Aviation will analyze your Temporary Cranes, Equipment, or Structures to determine if they will require Reporting to the FAA, FAA Lighting and Marking, as well as any potential issues to Air Navigation that may require the issuance of a Notice to Air Missions (NOTAM).

Cranes are considered Temporary Structures and need to be evaluated by the FAA for any impacts to the surrounding Airspace around Airports. Cranes and equipment necessary to build an already approved proposed structure by the FAA are normally higher and may impact Airspace.

Williams Aviation has been successful in negotiating with the Airport and FAA to find a solution suitable for our clients to avoid delays and costs in construction.

Recently, temporary cranes around San Diego International Airport (SAN), San Jose International Airport (SJC), and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) have been receiving unfavorable determinations from the FAA with any impact on Airspace. If you have received an FAA Notice of Preliminary Findings (NPH) or any Airspace impact study from the FAA on your Temporary Crane or Proposed Building, please contact us and we will assist you in finding a solution.
